1. A powerful earthquake struck New Zealand's south island killing at least 2 people. The strom damaged building and infrastructure. According to emergency services to warn people along the coast to move the high ground to avoid tsunami waves.

2. President-elected Donald Trump is receiving congratulatory phonecalls of a number of formal rivals including Jeb Bush and John Kasich. Trump's senior advisor Kellyanne Conway told fundraising trail on Sunday about the cause and said the conversation of the president-elected head with Bush was incredibly gracious.

3. French president Francois Hollande open the national day of commemoration in France one year after paris attacks that killed 130 people. Holland unveiled plaque covered by small french flag at national stadium in memory of single person killed there and new marks wounded.

4. Pope Francis has given VIP seats of homeless people at a special mass in St.Peter's Basilica. Francis invited them to one of his last masses during the holy year of mercy which ends on a number of 100 years.
